John Parks

Mr Parks is a Chemical Engineer whose entire career was spent developing and designing processes for new chemicals. He worked 41 years for Albemarle Corp.  After retirement from Albemarle Corp as Senior R&D Director in 2017, he taught Chemical Engineering Laboratory at Louisiana State University and is an independent consultant. He holds 12 US patents.

A global leader and innovator of Silicon anode materials for Li-ion batteries used in the transportation, power tool and consumer product business sectors.

GruEnergy produces high performance Si anode composite materials today and is driving development of highly engineered Si anodes to revolutionize lithium-ion battery performance.
